We believe that everyone should have the skills and knowledge necessary to save a life in an emergency situation. We only offer nationally recognised, Qualsafe approved courses.
All of our instructors are qualified first aid instructors with over 20 years of teaching experience.
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities. As scouters ourselves we know how important it is that volunteers time is appreciated, valued and protected wherever possible. We are pleased to be able to offer all members of Uk scouting the opportunity to obtain a nationally recognised Qualsafe EFAW qualification along with a bolt on module which covers the additional requirements of UK scouting. This is suitable for all members aged over 14, will be a 7 hour course and we will provide a signed document / letter so that leaders can upload this supplementary evidence to their digital membership system. Newly qualified entrants to an early years setting who have completed a level 2 and/or level 3 qualification on or after 30th June 2016, must also have either a full Paediatric First Aid or an Emergency Paediatric First Aid certificate within three months of starting work.
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification has been designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and is ideal for:

The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher) (RQF) qualification is specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until requalification training is required.
The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (RQF) qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide first aid and/or use an AED in an emergency.
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for people acting in unsupported outdoor roles such as Outdoor Activity Leaders, Bushcraft Instructors, Canoe Instructors or Duke of Edinburgh assessors who run activities where medical help could be up to a few hours away.
This informative, hands-on course fulfils the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at level D, providing the practical skills needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations.
